SmartFrameLab is a content site. We aim to collect as little personal information as practical.

Information we may receive

If you contact us, we may receive your name, email address, and message content. Basic analytics, hosting logs, and affiliate tracking may process technical information such as browser type, referral page, and approximate region.

If you subscribe to updates, submit a product, or vote in Feature Pulse, we may store your email address, submitted product details, vote choice, timestamps, and a hashed version of technical signals such as IP address for abuse prevention. We use this information to send requested updates, review product submissions, maintain reader-signal integrity, and limit repeated voting.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand page views and key site interactions such as review clicks, affiliate outbound clicks, RSS clicks, Frame Finder choices, Feature Pulse voting outcomes, product submissions, and newsletter signups. Custom analytics events are designed not to send email addresses, contact details, or free-form submission text.

Email updates

Research update emails are optional. Every digest email should include an unsubscribe link. Product submissions may also be emailed to the SmartFrameLab owner for editorial review.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links may use affiliate tracking so partners can attribute qualifying purchases. Partner sites have their own privacy policies and checkout terms.
